Commission Policy
This policy explains how commission works on airport parking bookings so that partners and customers see the same numbers.
How commission is calculated
The partner sets the price for their car park by day band. The platform commission is then applied on top of that price. The customer sees one clear total for their dates.
Where the calculation happens
Commission, customer price and partner payout are calculated server-side by the database when a booking is created. They are never calculated in the browser, so the customer receipt and the partner statement always match.
Commission rate
Each partner has a commission rate recorded on their account. It is visible in the partner dashboard and repeated on every booking and payout statement. Changes to a rate are agreed with the partner before they take effect.
What the customer pays
The displayed total includes the partner price and the commission. No booking fee or service charge is added at checkout, and nothing further is due at the car park unless the stay is extended or extra services are bought on site.
Payouts
Payout equals the partner price for completed bookings, less any agreed adjustments. Statements list each booking, its gross value, the commission and the net amount payable.
Cancellations and refunds
Where a booking is cancelled and refunded in full, no commission is retained. Partial refunds are handled case by case and shown as adjustments on the next statement.
